Luxury Trip to the Caribbean
I was very excited when I came to know that I had been selected for a scholarship and could study law at the University of my choice. Oh but, the icing on the cake was when dad gave me an envelope with my name on it. What do you think it had? An all-expenses paid luxury trip to the Caribbean! Gosh! I could not believe it! He and mum had planned this surprise for me. It was just what I needed after all those long hours of slogging and the unbearable wait for the results.
Well, I packed my bags and dived straight into my luxury vacation in the Caribbean. The view through the window while the plane was descending on the tarmac at Provo was mesmerizing. It felt as if the blue waters and the tiny island in the center were beckoning me. The check-in at the hotel where I stayed was done in a jiffy and my room was the ultimate in luxury. Oh! The beginning was so good that I just could not wait for the rest of my vacation to happen to me!
True to its claim, Provo is a luxury island and maintains its exclusivity. It is not overrun by the large number of vacationers on Caribbean cruises nor would you see any of those annoying vendors haggling around here. I spent the better part of most of my days on beautiful Grace Bay beach, soaking up the sun and getting a lovely tan. I even tried my luck at the casino but lost quite a sum – hope dad doesn’t get angry about me gambling!!
The visit to the Princess Alexandra Marine Park during my stay at Provo was a mind-blowing experience, especially the snorkeling trip when Jojo, the cute dolphin at the park, accompanied me through my excursion. Another luxury I indulged in and thoroughly enjoyed were the spa services on the beach. There was nothing for miles on end but for the sand and the deep blue sea around me.
