BT Bonded ADSL Ideal for Lincolnshire Businesses

Lincolnshire businesses can now take advantage of the bonded ADSL service launched by BT in partnership with Sharedband. This service will enable them to access the internet with speeds equivalent to four combined ADSL lines.

Househam Sprayer, a business based in Lincolnshire, which has signed up for this service has vouched for its effectiveness. Stephen Heath, the IT manager with the company, said that they were now enjoying broadband speeds of 2Mb on the upstream, which was a huge increase over their previous connection. As compared to other options, this one was also providing them almost two times faster download speeds (click for a broadband speed check).

The service is considered to be perfect for businesses as it works well for applications like virtual private networks, Voice over IP (VoIP), and video conferencing. Heath also claims that the service supports their virtual private network service very well, making it possible for the users to access both the internet and the intranet at very high speeds. This is a major advantage for offices located in remote locations and for users connecting from their homes.

If one is from the rural parts, the service will still be available, but the download speeds keep on decreasing as you move further away from the local exchange.

Lincolnshire businesses interested in registering for the BT bonded ADSL service are required to call 01522 814400, which is the number for BT Local Business. Choosing Option 3 would take the callers to the registration process.
